The Etsy Jewelry Corner Visits Unique Nique!
Today we are visiting with Monique Devroeg, owner of Unique Nique. One of a kind handmade jewelry is her business. She uses art glass, dichroic, copper wire, sterling wire, crystals and beads of many kinds. The shop features different styles, from delicate to bold, classic to unusual.
Monique is originally from South Africa and moved to the Florida in 2001.She is fascinated by shapes whether found in nature or man made. She loves to work with glass and wire in particular and loves experimenting. She enjoys learning about various crafts and seeing how to incorporate these new skills into her work.
Monique puts all of her jewelry through a rigorous testing procedure...if they can survive that, then they should be able to handle anything. This way she can ensure her customers are receiving a lasting piece of art.
In addition to jewelry, Monique also does decorative stained glass pieces. You can take a peek at all her creations in her Etsy shop. She also gives parties which gives her an opportunity to be up close to her customers...and for those living in the Tampa area...I hear she gives great hostess gifts!
In the artist's own words: " I really enjoy making things that have the ability to put a smile on peoples' faces, and that is after all the main aim of art; to bring pleasure to the viewer or wearer."
Monique is a loyal supporter of the handmade movement and you can find her tirelessly working on social networks or through her Etsy Teams such as Lunaessence's Arts and Crafts World Expo, On Fire for Handmade, Etsy ExPats, and many others; promoting other artisans, making new friends, and bringing a smile to peoples' faces...

If you are looking for a lasting piece of art...look no further than Monique's shop...all of her pieces would make excellent gifts...even for yourself!
